Talofa! I’m Alafou Ulukivaiola, a Samoan storyteller, digital marketer, and the creator of Talanoa Marketing. I was raised on the Kona side of the Big Island where community, culture, and real conversation shaped who I am. Storytelling has always been my natural strength, and now I use it to help small businesses grow and connect online.
I am currently studying digital marketing at MTECH and will earn my certificates in July 2026. My Polynesian background guides everything I do. I am Samoan, married to a proud Tongan husband, and a mother of two beautiful children. Talanoa Marketing was born from this identity and from the meaning of talanoa, which is open conversation and honest storytelling.
I started this business because many Polynesian-owned businesses struggle with digital marketing and staying up to date with online trends. My goal is to help our people build strong brands, improve their websites, create better content, and reach the audiences they deserve.
